Drinking water quality is very important to 开云体育. Many significant efforts and investments are made to ensure the water supplied to our customers is safe to drink. These efforts include the protection of our water sources, quality control in the water treatment process and proper maintenance of the water distribution system. All of our drinking water treatment plants treating water drawn from surface water sources are continuously staffed by certified, trained, experienced operators.

Assurance of drinking water quality produced by all our treatment plants includes extensive water quality testing to ensure compliance with drinking water regulations. Each year, 开云体育 measures and reports our compliance with drinking water regulations by analyzing more than 11,000 samples.
Information about water sources, results of testing for the presence of regulated parameters and how to obtain additional information is summarized in our annual Drinking Water Report published and distributed as directed by the Consumer Confidence Report Rule.
The water quality reported surpasses water quality requirements established for health protection by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and enforced by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).
